Help & support

Effective September 9, 2026

Control a supported TV from your iPhone. Start with both devices on the same local network.

Connect your TV

Turn on the TV and connect it and your iPhone to the same home network. Allow Local Network access when the app asks. Select your TV in the device list. On Samsung, approve the connection on the TV. On Google TV or Android TV, enter the six-character code shown on the TV.

If the TV does not appear, refresh the list, check that guest Wi-Fi or router isolation is not separating the devices, and allow the app in iPhone Settings. You can add a TV manually using the IP address shown in its network settings.

Reconnect or pair again

Keep the TV powered on while reconnecting. If permission has been revoked or pairing keeps failing, forget the device in the app and pair again. Remove the old authorization on the TV if necessary. Network wake-up depends on the TV’s standby settings; a TV without power cannot be woken over Wi-Fi.

Voice and text input

Samsung speech input produces text that you review and send to an active text field on the TV. Native Google TV / Android TV voice input requires a compatible remote service and a working assistant on the TV. It sends microphone audio from the iPhone to that assistant. Check microphone permission and the TV assistant’s language, account and internet settings.

Available keys, text entry, applications and voice features vary by TV model and by the app running on it. Text keyboard input is currently available for supported Samsung TVs.

Show photos and videos on the TV

Open Cast, choose your TV, then select a photo or video. The TV needs a compatible Google Cast or DLNA media receiver; successful remote pairing does not by itself provide a casting receiver. Keep TV Remote in the foreground while playing local media. You can switch to its Remote tab to control the TV.

If casting fails, check the receiver service and local network, then try a short standard video or photo. Media formats and playback controls depend on the receiver. Full iPhone screen mirroring, where supported by your TV, is available through Screen Mirroring in Control Center.

Pro, purchases and refunds

Pro unlocks the app’s full feature set on supported TVs. Available plans, local prices and any eligible trial are shown before purchase. Weekly and annual plans renew automatically unless cancelled through your Apple Account. Lifetime access is a one-time purchase.

If you already purchased, open the purchase screen and choose Restore Purchases while signed into the Apple Account used for the purchase. If a plan does not load, check your connection and try again later. For billing or refund requests, use Apple’s purchase support. TV compatibility continues to depend on the TV and its receiver services.

Contact support

In the app, open Settings → Feedback. Describe what happened and tap Send at the top right to open your email app. You can review or edit the message before sending. The destination is support@yuuglow.com.

For faster troubleshooting, include your TV brand, model and system version; what you tried; the expected and actual result; whether the problem repeats; and the network setup. For casting, mention whether it was a photo or video and the receiver used. Your phone model and app version are filled in automatically by the app.

If your iPhone cannot open a mail draft, copy the feedback text and send it using your preferred email service. Add screenshots only if they help, and remove personal content, passwords and pairing credentials.
