Terms of Use

Effective and updated:

These terms apply to the Yantu app provided by Chengdu Yuuglow Technology Co., Ltd. (“we” or “us”). Please read them before use. If you do not accept them, you can stop using and delete the app.

1. Service and scope of use

Yantu supports sound playback, mix editing, personal audio imports, and mix exports. It also offers related features through widgets, Siri, Shortcuts, Now Playing, and CarPlay on compatible devices. Availability depends on your device, operating system version, and platform support.

You may install and use the app on compatible devices in accordance with these terms and applicable distribution-platform terms. You receive permission to use the app; this does not transfer intellectual property rights in the app or its built-in material to you.

The free experience includes Bamboo Retreat, Spring Awakening, Rain at the Window, Along the Coast, and Woodland Rest, individual playback of every built-in sound, background playback, sleep timers, and supported CarPlay and system controls. VIP adds all scenes, evolving sound journeys, custom sound layering and saved mixes, and audio or mix imports. Selecting a paid feature does not purchase it; an Apple purchase confirmation is required.

2. VIP plans, payment, and restoration

  • Weekly subscription: an automatically renewing weekly subscription. A 3-day free trial is available only when Apple determines that the purchase is eligible and the purchase screen shows the offer. After the trial, the subscription renews at the displayed weekly price unless canceled. Without trial eligibility, payment starts when you confirm the paid subscription.
  • Annual subscription: a paid, automatically renewing annual subscription with no free trial.
  • Lifetime VIP: a one-time, non-consumable purchase that permanently unlocks this app’s VIP access. It is not an automatically renewing subscription.

Available products, local prices, currency, billing periods, and any trial offer are shown in the app and Apple’s purchase confirmation. Review them before confirming. Apple bills the Apple Account used for the purchase. Prices are not fixed in these terms.

To manage or cancel renewal on iPhone or iPad, open system Settings, tap your name, open Subscriptions, and select Yantu. Apple advises canceling a trial at least 24 hours before it ends if you do not want it to renew. Consult Apple’s cancellation instructions for current steps and regional conditions. Deleting the app, closing the paywall, or deleting app data does not cancel a subscription.

Use Restore purchases with the Apple Account used to buy the product when reinstalling or using another compatible device. Apple and RevenueCat determine the purchase status and corresponding access. A purchase awaiting approval, an abandoned purchase confirmation, or an unsuccessful purchase does not unlock VIP. Canceling future renewal does not itself remove access already valid for a paid period; Apple’s effective dates determine that access. A network interruption does not itself delete your saved audio or mixes; a purchase or restoration may need an internet connection. If membership ends or a purchase is refunded or revoked, paid access may end while free features remain available.

Apple handles refunds for purchases billed through the App Store. You can request one at Apple’s Report a Problem service; approval and processing follow Apple’s applicable rules and your statutory rights. See Apple’s refund instructions. Canceling renewal is separate from requesting a refund.

3. Audio, mixes, and rights

Rights in the app’s interface, code, and built-in material belong to their respective owners. Third-party code and audio remain subject to their own licenses; complete license and audio attribution files are bundled with the app and are also available on request. These terms do not restrict rights granted to you by those third-party licenses.

Only import, use, or share audio and mixes for which you have the necessary rights. Respect other people’s copyright, privacy, and other lawful interests. The ability to import a file does not mean you have permission to distribute it publicly or use it commercially.

You retain your existing rights in your own audio and mix contents. The app processes the files you select on your device for import, playback, storage, and export. This does not grant us permission to distribute your personal files publicly or sell them.

An exported .cwnmix file may include the full file contents of personal audio. Check permissions and the recipient before sharing. References to built-in sounds do not transfer their original licenses or ownership.

4. Responsible and safe use

Listen at a moderate volume and remain aware of your surroundings, alarms, and traffic signals. When driving, make selections and adjustments before departure, follow local traffic rules, and avoid screen interactions or other distractions while the vehicle is moving.

Yantu is an ambient audio tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide diagnosis, treatment, or professional medical advice.

Do not use the app to distribute unlawful content, infringe other people’s rights, or disrupt the operation of the app or related services.

5. Data, exports, and third-party services

Our Yuuglow Growth service automatically processes limited usage events and Apple Ads attribution, and uses RevenueCat purchase notifications for revenue analytics. There is no in-app usage analytics switch; these services do not receive personal audio or mix contents. Our Privacy Policy describes the fields, purposes, retention, and request process.

You can keep your own copies of important audio and exported mixes. File or app deletion, device failure, or system changes may make local data unrecoverable.

Apple’s purchase services, RevenueCat, Siri, CarPlay, system backups, file providers, and sharing channels are supplied by their respective platforms or providers and have their own applicable terms. We maintain the app within our control, but cannot manage copies in third-party services on your behalf or guarantee continued compatibility with every device or service.

6. Maintenance and your rights

We may fix issues, update features, or adjust supported systems as needed. Where a significant change materially affects existing use, we will provide an explanation or notice when feasible and appropriate. The app may have defects or be temporarily unavailable; please contact us if you encounter a problem.

These terms do not exclude or limit mandatory consumer rights under applicable law, or remove liability that cannot legally be excluded. When you obtain the app through Apple’s platform, applicable Apple terms also apply. These terms do not reduce rights those terms give you.

7. Stopping use and updates to these terms

You can stop using the app, delete your personal content, or delete the app at any time. Deleting the app does not cancel subscriptions, recall files you have shared, or change the licenses of third-party material.

We will publish updates to these terms on this page and change the date shown above. We will separately highlight significant changes where appropriate. When a change requires your confirmation under applicable law, we will obtain that confirmation separately; publishing revised terms alone does not mean you have accepted them.
